INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS

Scope of Training

1.The Company agrees to provide comprehensive training to the Intern in the
following areas:
• Design and Fabrication
• Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
• Fitting and Furnishing
• Plumbing
• Computer Literacy

Compensation


1.For the initial six months, the Intern shall not receive monetary
compensation but will be facilitated with allowances for feeding, transport, and
upkeep.
2.After the initial six months, the Intern shall receive a monthly allowance,
the amount of which will be determined based on the Intern’s experience and
the workload of ongoing projects.


4. Package for Unforeseen Circumstances


1.The Company shall provide a comprehensive package covering unforeseen
circumstances such as illness, death, and work-related injuries (non
negligence).


Qualifications


1.To be eligible for this internship, the Intern must meet the following
qualifications:
• Age: Between 14 and 35 years old
• Must adhere to ethical and moral standards, being a person of good
character – No specific educational level required; applications accepted
from any gender
• Must possess qualities of humility, a strong work ethic, and a
commitment to continuous learning
• Submission of a valid National ID
• Submission of a Local Council (LC) letter
• Demonstrated interest in the field of engineering and innovation


Intern’s Financial Responsibility


1.The Intern is obligated to provide or pay for the following items:
• Safety Boots:

• Backpack:
• Notebook:

2.All payments shall be remitted to the Company for the purpose of ensuring
uniformity and adherence to the Company’s branding standards.


Rules and Regulations


1.Familiarize yourself with the company’s Rules and Regulations outlined in
the Employee Handbook. This includes
• No unauthorized absence from work without prior notice.
• Strict prohibition of theft or any form of dishonesty.
• Compliance with all safety and security protocols outlined by the
Company in the Employee Handbook.
• Confidentiality of all proprietary information and trade secrets of the
Company.


Workplace Conduct


1.The Intern shall refrain from any form of substance abuse within the
workshop or on-site.
2.The Company shall uphold and implement the constitution of Uganda in all
its operations.

Performance and Evaluation


1.The Intern’s performance will be periodically evaluated by their assigned
supervisor.
2.Continuous improvement and proactive engagement in assigned tasks are
expected from the Intern.


Code of Ethics


1 The Intern shall conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism,
demonstrating respect for colleagues, superiors, and clients.


2.Upholding honesty, integrity, and a commitment to ethical practices is
paramount.
