Akili Innovation Engineering, a department under the vibrant Akili Innovation
Hub—a young generation movement from Northern Uganda—is proud to
introduce Akili Automotive Solution, a forward-looking automotive division
aimed at revolutionizing the vehicle repair, customization, and electric car
development sector in Uganda.
With a primary focus on imported vehicles (especially from the UK, USA, and
Japan—”Gammy”), and a bold ambition to enter car manufacturing with
innovation-driven projects like Akili Vonz and other Electric Vehicle (EV)
initiatives, this division seeks to be a leader in both quality service delivery and
future-focused engineering.
To become Uganda’s leading center for innovative automotive engineering,
providing modern repair solutions and pioneering the local development of
electric and custom-built vehicles.

Uganda is rapidly urbanizing, with a growing population of imported vehicles
that require specialized maintenance. The market lacks sufficient advanced
repair centers for modern cars with smart features. In addition, with the
government’s push for industrialization and local manufacturing, this project
aligns perfectly with national priorities.
